You want to make movies?

Maybe you are fascinated by the technical side of lights and cameras. Or maybe you saw a particular movie that made you fall in love with the thought of creating a journey for an audience.

As a young filmmaker, it can be overwhelming to get started in film. There are countless YouTube tutorials, cameras and computers with endless features, and everyone offering free advice… Where should you start?

The secret is to tell great stories!

Movies aren’t made with some magical secret process or just talent alone. Instead, there are tried and true principles, used over and over again by even the most experienced directors, to make an audience laugh or cry, and be swept away in a character’s “happily ever after.”

We’re here to share these filmmaking principles.
